Definition

Adjustment type

Supplementary Documentation - SMVAR 0001

Use

Adjustment types defined in the time-dependent table apply additionally to the adjustment types on the contract, or restrict them.

Here: An adjustment type which is only defined on the contract applies to the entire validity period of the contract. If the validity period of the adjustment type is to be limited, you can specify this by entering corresponding periods for this adjustment type in the adjustment types table.

Use

The adjustment type defined on the contract applies to the entire validity period of the contract as long as no restriction is determined in the time-dependent table for this adjustment type.

It is the primary adjustment type of the contract which is displayed in lists and according to which selections can be made on the initial screen of evaluations.

Examples

A graduated contract should be additionally guaranteed with an index clause (common in Austria)

On the contract, enter 4 - graduated rent as primary adjustment type and also 2 - index rent for the additional adjustment types in the time-dependent table.

Procedure

Adjustment methods cannot be used for the general contract even if these indicators are available.

Enter an adjustment type that allows the requested adjustment method for the contract.

If you want to combine adjustment methods, choose |@1F@ (Adjustment data) and add another adjustment type.

If you want to use an index-linked rent adjustment or a sales-based rent calculation for the contract, you also choose |@1F@ (Adjustment data) to maintain the necessary adjustment data. However, corresponding conditions must exist in the Conditions tabstrip.

Procedure

You should assign each key a contract type.

If you want to make a key valid for all contract types, you have to assign all contract types to this key.

If you do not assign any contract type to a key, this key will never be taken into consideration. This means that you cannot assign it to a contract.
