These categories are used to group together fixtures and fittings characteristics which have the same surcharge or reduction amount.

In the case where the category is also a characteristic, or an existing characteristic is not assigned to a category, and either one has a surcharge or reduction amount, this characteristic must be defined as a category and as the only characteristic of this category.
