Character conversion
Use
Here you specify how conversion errors are handled.
Default setting:
Characters that cannot be converted are replaced by the predefined replacement character '#' - that is, Unicode character number U+0023. There is no additional error message.
Short dump:
In the case of conversion errors, the RFC terminates with the short dump CONVERSION ERROR.
Ignorier conversion errors:
Characters that cannot be converted are replaced by the replacement character specified by yourself.
You can either enter the character itself or its Unicode character number. You can check Unicode character numbers using transaction SCP or look them up in the Internet at www.unicode.org.
