Definition
The balance carried forward corresponds to the closing balance of the previous fiscal year.
At the beginning of the new fiscal year, the balance carried forward is calculated and stored by the balance carried forward program. In the case of subsequent postings to the last fiscal year, the balance carried the balance carried forward is updated automatically.
