Documentation
Definition
The original term is the word in the SLS name or in the SLS address from which a corresponding search term will be generated.
Example
An SLS record name has the following structure:
Name 1: Carl Miller
Name 2: Freddy
Thus, the SLS address consists of three original terms:
- Carl
- Miller
- Freddy
From each original term, the "Generate search terms" program (transaction VXL7) determines one search term respectively.
These search terms could be:
- CARL
- MILLER
- FREDDY.
In Customizing, you can control how the program determines search terms.
