Documentation
Definition
Organizational unit for saving a group ofcost centers in the SAP System for which activity types were planned.
Each cost center in this group can also function as a sender in activity input planning.
Use
One example of this group is a cost center area of the original hierarchy or other alternative hierarchies (such as the group "Energy"). You can also define any number of your own cost center groups in order to make work in your application easier, using the relevant maintenance transactions to do so.
Supplementary Documentation - SKGRU 0001
Use
In activity input planning, you can plan either one sender cost center or a group of sender cost centers. You must choose between these two options.
You can plan sender cost center groups if you need to access several sender cost centers within a responsibility area at once.
Planning sender cost centers gives you the advantage of not having to fill out the initial screen for each cost center.
Procedure
You can make an entry in either the "Single value" field or the "Group" field, but not in both fields.
Sender cost center groups are maintained using cost center group maintenance in the master data.
