Definition

Field for the simultaneous selection of several lines.

The selected lines (column contains an "X") are highlighted and can be processed in parallel with the various functions of the "Edit" menu.

Use

Enables you to perform a processing/editing function for several lines simultaneously. You need not select and process each individual line separately (via F9/"Execute").

Example

If you select the lines 1, 2, and 5 in column "M", for example, and perform the function "Cut", these three lines will be cut out and placed on the clipboard.
