Definition

Determines whether settlement accounting is only to be simulated or actually carried out.

Use

  • If you select Simulate, the system determines the business volume data relevant to settlement, determines the rebate income, and checks whether settlement documents (billing document or credit memo documents) can be created. However, the documents are not posted. This allows you to check the rebate income generated as a result of settlement and whether any error messages arise.
  • If you select Execute, the settlement documents will additionally be posted. If you are not carrying out an advance interim settlement, the relevant condition records will be flagged as "settled" (status "Inactive").
