Definition
For postings from the loan, the payment reference unit provides you with information about the current purpose of a disbursement or a cash receipt. The payment reference unit also stores the active purpose of the disbursement or cash receipt.
You can display the current purpose of the payment in the account statement for the loan; either in the subledger document belonging to the disbursement or cash receipt (if the payment has already been assigned to a receivable, or in the document lines in FI (if the payment has not been assigned to a receivable).
