Definition
A set is a flexible structure that is used to depict hierarchies and sets of objects.
In a set, you can combine specific values or ranges of values, and you can also group together a number of sets in a hierarchy.
For this, the values in sets relate to a dimension of a database table.
Groups that were created in controlling are also stored technically as sets. They can however, not be displayed or changed in set maintenance. However, you can use groups, for example, in single and multiple sets as well as in Report Writer reports.
