Definition
The original language of a set or group is only used internally at SAP. When transports are run between development and translation systems, only the original language is transported.
The original language cannot be set up individually for each set.
This is determined by the package entered for the SETHEADERT table in the CUS_ORIGLANG transaction. An identical entry must also exist for the SETLINET table.
If there is no entry for the set class and/or subclass the the original language is German.
