Documentation
Definition
Object type used for serialization checking of inbound IDocs (serialization via time stamp)..
IDocs sent do not need to reach the receiving system in the send sequence - "overtaking" is possible. With some messages this causes problems.
Within the ALE functions serialization problems can be recognized during input processing:
In an IDoc the application object is determined that may cause problems when messages arrive in disorder ("serialization object"). On the basis of updates in the ALE layer, "overtaking" can be detected with respect to the serialization object. This can be queried by the application and can cause specific reactions during IDoc posting to the application.
