Definition

The version flag describes the activation state of a class, an interface, a component or a relationship.

It can have the following values:

  • Active version. This is the version that is accessed by all users at runtime.
  • Inactive version.

When you insert object types using the Class Library API, they and their components are always inserted as inactive versions.
