Definition
Using the function 'Select', the data which is to be formatted in the reports of the current report group is selected.
Depending on the amount of data you select, the formatting process may take a great deal of time. It is, therefore, advisable to store the selected data by checking off the indicator 'Store data permanently'. This allows you to repeatedly output the report without having to reselect the data.
You can assign a name to the stored data which will then be entered when you want to output the report. You can store various amounts of data using this method. If you did not assign any names, the data is stored and read without a name when the report is outputted.
You can output a list of the saved data using the function 'Saved data...' (Menu option 'Utilities'). From this list, you can also output and delete the saved data.
