Definition
The status field indicates the status of a security.
We didtinguish between the following three statuses:
- Inactive
- Active
- Obsolete
You assign a security 'inactive' status if you are still creating the master data for the security and are not yet processing any transactions with it. Set the status to 'active' when you have finished entering the master data.
The standard status for a security is 'active'.
You assign the 'obsolete' status to a security if it has expired and it is not to be selected in evaluation reports.
