Definition

Specifies the archiving document type to be used to archive output which initiates or results from the creation of a document in the system.

Example

When you create a sales order, you require the following archiving document types:

SDIORDER (customer purchase order) for archiving the customer purchase order which is sent to you by the customer and leads to the sales order being created.

SDOORDER (sales order confirmation) for archiving the sales order confirmation which results from the sales order you created and is sent to the customer.
