Definition

The system maps the logical repository to the physical repository using a definition template. The definition template can contain the following variables:

<CLIENT>    Client

<SYSID>    System ID

When mapping the logical repository to a physical repository, the system replaces these variables with real values.

Use

One of the main uses of logical repositories is that they allow you to use the same category to address different HTTP repositories in different clients.

Dependencies

Example

In client 005 of the SAP system ABC, the definition template <SYSID>_CAD1_CLNT_<CLIENT> is mapped to the physical repository ABC_CAD1_CLNT_005.
