Definition

The category specifies the situations for which additional flow types are defined.

The following values are available for one-step valuations:

• One-step: Assign flow type
• One-step: Assign adjustment flow type

These are valid for the flow categories XA, XD, XG and XGF, and are used when the write-up or write-down amounts for the security and the foreign exchange elements have different +/- signs.

For security write-ups and write-downs using two-step valuation, the following values are available:

• Two-step: Special security valuation - mandatory
• Two-step: Special security valuation - exercised right

These are only valid in conjunction with flow category XA, and are used when you perform a special valuation for a price defined in View VWSPV.
