Documentation
Definition
Indicator that allows you to select the method of saving.
Use
You have the following options:
- Do not save anything:
When the program runs, pricing documents are not generated and prices are not activated. If you select this method but have not set the flag for printing the pricing list or the error log, the system will issue a warning message if you are running the program online (as the log generated would only contain information on items with errors or for which prices were calculated) or will terminate processing if you attempt to run the program in the background (as in this case no result would be output at all).
- Generate pricing documents, do not activate prices:
If you select this method, pricing documents will be created for items with a pricing type for which the generating pricing documents option is set (SAP Retail Customizing: Maintain pricing type). The sales prices that are calculated are not activated, however. The status of the pricing documents that are generated is therefore 'A' ('New, not saved').
- Activate prices:
This is the standard method for saving sales prices that you have created. If you have made the relevant settings in Customizing (see above), pricing documents will also be generated. These then have the status 'C' for 'Saved'.
