Definition
Specifies the value of a material's valuated stock prior to posting.
Use
Prior to posting, which was executed by this document, this field was filled with the value of the valuated stock in the valuation area to which the plant in the document is assigned.
Dependencies
When you evaluate the data in this field, note that:
- to display the documents in the correct chronological order, you choose List -> Sort According to Time of Entry.
- If a material document contains several items for the same material, the system shows the same stock value in this field for every item in the document.
- If you display material documents and restrict the selection so that not all documents per combination material/valuation area/valuation category are displayed (for example, you restrict the selection to storage location), the sequence will contain jumps, that is, the total of the total value and the posting value of this document may be different from the total value in the follow-on documents.
- Price changes and invoice receipts change this value.
