Used to display or set the output length of the character string.

Use

In this field you can set the maximum length of the output length for the character string to be output. If the character string is longer than the value you set up, the excess characters in the character string are cut off when output.

Dependencies

Example

You want to display a text variable that delivers the current time in the format "HH:MM:SS". If you have set an output length of 5 characters, the time will be output as "HH:MM", i.e the output of the seconds is suppressed.
