Documentation
Definition
The range of coverage of the total stock is calculated as follows:
total stock
-------------------------
average total usage/day
Use
In the standard system, this key figure is calculated in Inventory Controlling during the standard analysis for the period which is specified in updating.
The average total usage is calculated by dividing the total usage quantity by the number of calendar days in the period to analyze.
The total stock comprises the valuated stock and the consignment stock, which are updated to information structure S032.
Dependencies
Note that the range of coverage of the total stock can only be correctly calculated at an aggregated level (for example, plant or material group level) if quantities of the same unit of measure are cumulated. Otherwise '***' is used as the unit in the standard version of Inventory Controlling.
