Documentation
Definition
When the Report Writer outputs a report, the user interface of the report output is taken over by a standard program.
If you want to use your own user interface for the library reports, check off the 'User-defined' indicator and enter the program and status of a user interface (GUI) which is to serve as the reference.
Technical note
The status 'EDITION' in program SAPLGRWG is used in the standard system. You can copy the status to a reference program and then modify it. Since the standard SAP user interface changes in the course of the development process, a modified interface must generally be adapted for each release upgrade. This is why you should only use a modified user interface in special cases.
Application-specific user interfaces can be added to the standard program SAPLGRWG for SAP internal applications.
