Definition
Not-yet-dissolved (reversed) provisions for accrued income from "subsequent settlement" (i.e. difference between provisions for income and dissolved provisions, as a result of settlements for example).
Use
Provisions for rebate income can be posted for condition records within the framework of "subsequent" (end-of-period) rebate settlement (Purchasing).
Provisions for income can be used to influence the current material price valuation by taking anticipated rebate income into account before settlement takes place and the amount payable is actually received.
