Definition
Specifies how the system is to proceed in determining the shift to be proposed.
Use
- If you choose the setting Fixed Shift Grouping, you can then stipulate a fixed shift grouping in the Shift Grouping field. The system then determines the shift to be proposed in the confirmation independently of the order to be confirmed on the basis of the shift sequence that you have defined for the shift grouping. In this case, a shift is already suggested when the time ticket is invoked (CO11N/ COR6N), without your having to specify an order number.
- If you choose the setting Order-Type-Dependent Shift, when the time ticket is invoked the system cannot determine the shift until you have entered the order and operation/phase number and chosen Enter. The system can determine the shift only on the basis of the work center used in the operation.
If you choose this setting, you can additionally exactly specify which shift is to be proposed at the time of entry in Customizing for the confirmation in the IMG activity Define Confirmation Parameters on the Individual Entry General tab page.
