Definition
Used when activities are displayed in a table control. The index is used to uniquely identify an activity.
Example
Activity 2 is assigned to index 2. However, it may be that activity 2 is displayed in the first row of the table control, rather than the second. This is the case if activity 1 is hidden. An activity can therefore not be clearly identified by its position in the table control, but only by the index.
