Definition

Indicates a database update when a material group is assigned to a value-only material.

Use

An update is made when the stocks in a plant can be managed both on a value-only basis and on a value and quantity basis or when the stocks in a plant are managed on a hierarchy material at a particular level.

Procedure

• Set this indicator if you want to define a profile with which stocks can either be managed on a hierarchy material or both material-based and material-group-based.
• Do not set this indicator if you want to define a profile with which stocks of a plant - apart from some exceptions - are managed always on an exact material basis or always on a material-group-basis.
