Documentation
Definition
The part number identifies a section in a sequential data object that is being held in the SAP TemSe database (Temporary Sequential Objects database). Typical TemSe data objects are the printable data in a spool request or background processing job logs.
Division of a single TemSe object into numbered parts occurs in spool data. When the attributes of the data in an object change, then the change is marked for internal use by a part boundary. For example, a change in the character set in spool data is marked by a part boundary and a new part number.
