Definition
The number of paper trays in an output device. Used in output devices for which you have activated resource management.
In resource management, you enter the paper types, forms, or other resources available a particular output device. You also specify the paper tray which holds each resource. When a print request is sent to the output device, the spool system selects the paper tray which holds the resource required by the print request.
