Definition
Indicator that activates automatic load balancing for this spool server.
Use
You use this field to control which method the system uses to determine a spool server for processing output requests.
Select this field to set automatic load balancing. The system searches for the server with the lowest load in the hierarchy of logical and alternative servers you defined. This server then takes over output request processing. SAP cannot guarantee that an output device's spool requests are processed sequentially.
If you do not select this field, the output requests are assigned statically to this spool server or its logical mapping.
You must activate this switch for each node of your server hierarchy if you want to balance the load for one of the branches below.
Note
Acceptance: You have identified this server as a logical server and have not activated load balancing. However, the system may balance the load if the field is selected for one of the lower hierarchy nodes.
