Use
You can use this field to display a special message regarding an output device to your users.
If this field is empty, the text in field Location is displayed in the list of output devices. If you enter a message in this field, then this message is displayed instead of the Location description.

Suppose you have entered the following Location text for printer LPR2: Computing center line printer in RZ-22.
If this printer breaks down, you can enter a message in this field to let users know it has broken down.

Enter a short text to be displayed in the list of the output devices by default.
You can, for example, enter the location of the output device, or any other text which simplifies the identification of the printer.
You can replace this text by a special message by filling in the field Comment.

Procedure
Use this field to temporarily overwrite the text in the field Location in the list of the output devices. You can, for example, display a message that a printer is temporarily out of order.
The text in the field Location is displayed again as soon as the text in this field is deleted.
