Definition
When deriving the resources from basis resources, the derivation rule can be limited to a specific device type or be independent of the device type.
The first attempt is to use a rule dependent on the device type. If none exists, an attempt is made to use a device type independent rule. If no such rule exists, no derivation from basis resources is possible.
