Enter one of the variant codes listed below to control how the escape sequence defined for the print control is to appear in the text:
- 1: The print control is to appear in the text as defined.
- 5: The print control is to appear in the text only once. The print control ESCAP is prefixed and the print control SUFFX is suffixed, if available.
If several print controls appear in sequence in a line, the sequence defined in SEPAR is placed in between in each case.
