Definition

The revenue event type determines which event or document leads to recognition of the relevant revenues. If the event maintained here in the item category occurs, the revenues are provided for revenue recognition at that point.

Use

You can make the following entries:

• No value # Not Event-Related

  The item category is not relevant for events.

• A # Incoming Invoice

  The revenues are provided at the time of the incoming invoice. The revenues depend on the quantities invoiced in the incoming invoice (third-party business transaction).

• B # Acceptance Date

  The revenues are provided at the time of the customer acceptance date.

• X / Y / Z # Customer-Specific Event: X / Y / Z

  The revenues are provided at the time of a specific event that you can define using the BAdI for customer-specific events.
