Definition
You use the revenue event type to control which event or document causes recognition of the corresponding revenues. If the event that is maintained here in the item category occurs, the revenues are provided for recognition at that point in time.
For example, if you select the revenue event type 'A', the revenues are not provided for recognition until the time of the incoming invoice and depending on the quantities that are invoiced in the incoming invoice.
