Definition

The following status indicators are used to specify the processing status of a spool request:

-     Not yet sent to the host system (no output request exists).

+    Spool requested being generated (stored in spool system).

Waiting    Spool system has not yet processed output request; not yet sent to host system.

In proc.    The spool work process is formatting the output request for printing.

Printing     The host spool is printing the output request. If the SAP spool system does not receive any status information from the host spool, this status is displayed for approximately one minute. The system then sets the status to "Compl."(completed) or "Error".

Compl.    The output request printed successfully. In systems where the spool system does not receive any information about the host spool, the status changes to "Compl." as soon as the output request is sent to the host spool.

More than one output request with differing statuses was created. The output requests have different statuses or have not yet reached their final processing status. To display the status of the individual requests, choose "Output requests" or double-click the request status.

Problem    Indicates a minor error such as an incomplete character set. The output request printed, but the output probably contains errors.

Error    Indicates a severe error such as an network error. The requests have not printed and remain in the spool system until they are deleted or until they reach their expiration date and are deleted during a reorganization.

Archiv    (for spool requests sent to an archiving device) The spool request was processed by the spool system and is now waiting to be archived.

Time    The user who created the request specified a specific output time.
