Definition

The Mod flag shows if the data element of the view field differs from the data element of the assigned table field.

The data element of the assigned table field is normally allocated to a view field. You can assign the data element another view field, but it has to refer to the same domain.

Change the data element

Set the Mod flag. You can now enter values in field Data element. Select a data element using the input help (F4 help).

If you want to use the data element of the assigned table field again, you only have to cancel the Mod flag. The data element of the base table is used again.
