Definition
Unit of measure for the variable-size item quantity.
Procedure
In the material master, alternative units of measure can be maintained in addition to the base unit of measure.
In "BOMs", not all alternative units of measure are taken into account - only the unit of issue.
- Possible values are:
- base unit of measure
- unit of issue
- Units of measure whose dimension is the same as either the base unit of measure or the unit of issue
- If you do not enter a unit, the system takes a default unit from the material master:
If the issue unit was entered on the storage detail screen, the system uses this unit. Otherwise, it takes the base unit of measure.
