Activitate this field for the combinations of stages and actions for which sub-items are not to be generated automatically and which require manual intervention before you can continue with repairs processing.
Example
The customer returns 10 mobile phones to be repaired. The technical check determines that 5 of them can be repaired but the remaining five cannot. You want to check with the customer before you scrap the 5 irreparable phones. To prevent the system from automatically generating a scrap item when the results of the technical check are reported to the repair order, the Manual field must be activated for the action "Scrap" and the stage "Start of repairs".
