Definition
Number that uniquely identifies the current version of the inventory recounts for a physical inventory.
Use
If the differences between the inventory balance and the counted stock in inventory is so big as to assume that errors have probably occurred, then it is necessary to repeat the count. The recount version specifies to which recount the counted results belong. The system automatically updates this number each time an inventory recount takes place.
