Documentation
Definition
The reserved quantity represents the quantity that has been requested for a storage bin for production supply. The request is based on an order (staging indicator 1), but the quantity has not yet been used. In this case, you are dealing with a requested quantity if a transfer order was created for a transfer requirement, but the goods issue has not yet been posted.
The reserved quantity is calculated from the requested quantity minus the quantity already picked (that is, already used).
Per definition, no negative reserved quantities are allowed.
