Definition
Channel, through which the customer receives goods or services. Typical examples of distribution channels are wholesale, retail and direct sales.
Dependencies
You can only enter the distribution channel if one of the main relationship partners has partner type "Customer". You must also make sure that this distribution channel is assigned to your returnable packaging.
Use
The distribution channel, along with the sales organization, is used in account determination.
