Documentation
Definition
Date from which a partner relationship between the exchange partner and the location of this returnable packaging account is valid.
If this relationship is a main relationship, this date also determines the validity of the RP account itself. The main relationship is identified as such.
Note
If you create an account with a period of validity that overlaps with that of an existing account with the same main relationship, then the valid-to date of the existing account is set to before the valid-from date of the new account. This is to ensure that a relationship is only used once. You receive a system message before the action is carried out.
If the new account fully overlaps the old one, the system sets the valid-to date of the old account further back than its valid-from date.
This has the effect that the account is invalid and can no longer have transactions posted to it.
