Definition

Specifies the partition number for this posting.

When returnable packaging account postings are assigned to statements (outbound), the system splits the postings into partitions. These partitions are numbered through for each account starting with 1. Thus, the first partition always represents the initial statement (that is, the postings that come before it), the second partition the first actual statement, and so on.

Use

You can display the assignment of postings to partitions in the list of RP account postings grouped by RP account number, by selecting in the initial screen an interim balance calculation that concurs with the account statements created.

Procedure

Examples

If 5 statements (with partition numbers 2 to 6) have been created:

  • the postings that come before the first actual statement have partition number 1
  • the postings that are assigned to the first statement have partition number 2
  • the postings that are assigned to the second statement have partition number 3
  • the postings that come after the last statement have partition number 7.
