Definition

An open quantity can be the sum of all

• open purchase orders for empties
• inbound deliveries of empties for which goods receipt has not been posted yet
• open sales orders for empties
• outbound deliveries of empties for which goods issue has not been posted yet

belonging to one returnable packaging account.

You use the field Planning Type of the RP Account to control whether the open quantities are open purchase orders/inbound deliveries or open sales orders/outbound deliveries.
