Specifies the amount of the transaction quantity that has not yet been matched. If the quantity difference equals zero, the posting items and statement transactions are completely matched.

This quantity is calculated by subtracting the total of the posting quantities involved from the total of the transaction quantities involved. The +/- sign of the posting quantities is set to suit the transactions, according to the role of location in statement.
