Definition

Part of a inspection sample that is removed during the stock placement process.

When you process a goods receipt in the WM system (that is, the transfer order for the corresponding transfer requirement) for an inspection sample, you can decide what you want to do with the sample quantity:

1. You can select the entire quantity from the quantity to be stored. In this case, the entire quantity remains in the goods receipt area.
2. If you select only part of the sample quantity, that part remains in the goods receipt area to be inspected and a transfer order is created to store the rest in the warehouse.
3. If you decide not to process the transfer requirement item any further, a transfer order is created to store the entire quantity in the warehouse.
