Selection characteristic

This flag determines whether the characteristic should be used in the profitability segments that receive the process costs. At the same time, it makes the characteristic usable for determining a process template.
Determining Process Templates

If this field is not selected, the characteristic is used to determine the profitability segments to which the process costs are posted. However, it cannot be used as a selection criterion in the allocation transaction.
