Documentation
Definition
You can use program RKE_HDB_SET_MAINTAINANCE_MODE to deactivate CO-PA access to the SAP HANA database (for example, during maintenance).
Once the SAP HANA database is available again, you can use this program to set the status to Active again.
Use
Dependencies
If the maintenance mode of the SAP HANA database is activated, the following applies:
- Structural changes are not transferred to the SAP HANA database.
- It is not possible to write, delete, or reconcile data (RKE_HDB_WRITE_DATA, RKE_HDB_WRITE_REALIGNMENT_DATA, RKE_HDB_DELETE_DATA, or RKE_HDB_RECONCILIATION)
- CO-PA data is read from the classic database.
