Definition
You use the "Sender selection type" indicator during the transfer of actual costs from cost centers or business processes to Profitability Analysis. It allows you to select whether the unsplit or the split costs of the sender objects are to be read by the system.
- Select unsplit costs (indicator 1)
When you select unsplit costs, the system transfers the overall costs of the sender object to a value field (overall value) that you assigned in the segment header of cycle maintenance. (The system reads the sender objects with value type 04).
- Select split costs (indicator 2)
When you select split costs, the costs of the sender object are transferred to the corresponding value fields assigned in the segment header, separated into fixed and variable costs. (For this splitting, the system reads the sender objects of value type 04 and value type 03).
Before you transfer the split costs you should already have executed actual cost splitting for the sender objects in Overhead Cost Controlling
